NERDS IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE our 1st ever, Fundraiser, Dinner and Show at Jackson Rancheria Hotel Saturday February 10th 2018 Refreshments available in the hotel lobby starting at 3:00 Doors open at 4pm Blessing by Dahkota Brown Native Dinner served at 5pm – Braised Beef, roasted potatoes, Rancheria beans with jasmine rice, green salad, and Fry Bread followed by dessert and coffee Show starts at 6:00pm with Welcome from Dahkota & Dahlton Gregg Deal –Nationally known artist and activist - performance art Richie Ledreagle - Northern California Native Musician Marc Yaffee – Pow Wow Comedy Jam – Stand up comedy Tanaya Winder – Nationally known Poet & performer Frank Waln – Nationally known Musician Show should conclude by 8:15 Meet and greet for photos & to purchase merch from performers in lobby until 9:30pm

There will be 210 tickets available at $40.00 each – general admission seating There are only 50 VIP seats available for $65.00 each - These Include front table seating, front of the line for meet & greet after the show & a swag bag with items from each of the performers
If you are pre-registered for the NERDS 5th Youth Gathering you will receive an email to the email on file you register with this year, it will contain the PRE-SALE CODE to purchase tickets for Saturday night’s dinner/show. We hope you won’t share it with the public as this is the only chance for the youth gathering attendees to have an early opportunity to attend the show. Pre-sale begins November 8th at Noon General Sale to the public begins on November 11th at 11am 1st come, 1st served with no refunds given. Tickets are being sold through the Jackson Casino event box office. If you purchase at the venue there is no fee. If you purchase your tickets online, there is a $5.00 per ticket fee added by the site. We cannot override this and this is not of our control--we apologize for thee inconvenience! This event is the only way we can provide the Sunday Youth Gathering for FREE and expand to include an additional 60 students! Thank you for supporting us and we hope to see you there!
The Jackson Rancheria Hotel is holding a block of 12 rooms until December 15th, there are only 12 rooms available at the discounted rate: Saturday $149.00 and Sunday $99.00 MUST BE REGISTERED TO ATTEND YOUTH GATHERING IN ORDER TO RECEIVE CODE FOR DISCOUNTED RATE
Vendor/Booth attendees: Please register ONLY 1 person then add your other booth operator's name and shirt size on the SAME registration--NO MORE than 2 people per booth. Booth operators will receive meals but, at this time are being asked to dine at their booth in order to allow more students in the event room. We are also asking for all registered booths to mail their raffle/give away prize donation OR $40 for us to purchase an item before Jan. 1st. to NERDS c/o D. Brown 115 Hillside Pl Jackson, CA 95642
STUDENTS: 7th grade - College (25 yrs and under) We are looking for 10 Students who want to speak on stage (10 mins max) to share their story or something they are proud of! We want the event to highlight student success, so please send a short bio and what you would be willing to share so we can add you to the line up! You can also share a talent --just about ANYTHING goes so email us at NERDS5th@gmail.com with your story or talent. Additionally, we are collecting photos to share how you engage with your community/family, which we will share in a slideshow at the event. If you'd like to be featured, please email your photos to NERDS5th@gmail.com
BREAK OUT SESSIONS: 5 Open spots left - 45 min presentations in rooms that seat 30-40. Please email your interest with details of the session by November 15th. We will make selections by November 20th!! Student organizations are encouraged to apply to present! ADVISORS: We ask that each adult registering as an advisor/chaperone/driver to be accompanying a minimum of 3 students. There are only 60 spaces available for adults this year and our staff will confirm student count for each adult registering. This is the only way we ensure students having a seat in the room.
